I Microsoft XML Core Services 3.0 (MSXML 3.0) finns ett problem med minnesskador vid hantering av HTTP-svar för ActiveX-objektet "Msxml2.XMLHTTP.3.0". Skadan kan uppstå i en slumpmässig adress. Adressen beror på datorminnets startvärde och kan inte styras av angriparen. Alla Windows-versioner av MSXML 3.0 påverkas.
