Summary
This article describes an update for Microsoft Lync 2010 Phone Edition. After you apply the update on a telephone that is running Lync 2010 Phone Edition, the My Status option displays Presence Unknown when Lync 2010 Phone Edition enters the branch office resiliency mode.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, install the appropriate cumulative update for the telephone that you are using:
