Microsoft 365 Personal 24 months free subscription
Since October 2025, the Microsoft 365 Personal 24-month free offer is included with some Office Pre-installed PCs sold in Japan only.
Simply put, you can start the 24-month full subscription for free. And, if you want to experience the features of Microsoft 365 Personal at first, you can start the 3-month free trial subscription instead of the 24-month full free subscription.
After starting trial subscription, if you want to extend your subscription to a total 24 months for free, you can activate the additional 21-month free subscription before the trial period ends. However, if you don't need the subscription longer than the trial period, you can switch to Office Home and Business 2024 for free after the trial ends.
Important
The free subscription itself will be revoked if you don't start it within 180 days after Windows is activated. And, if you will purchase multiple Office Pre-installed PCs that come with this free plan at once, please don't start the 3-month trial subscriptions on all devices with a single Microsoft account. The optional plan after starting the 3-month trial subscriptions will not be provided correctly. For this matter, please refer to 'Frequently Asked Questions for Office Pre-installed PC'.

If you are currently using the Microsoft 365 Family subscription, please start this Microsoft 365 Personal 24-month free subscription after your current Microsoft 365 Family subscription has expired. If you purchased your Microsoft 365 Personal or Family from a third-party retailer, please also see Manage your Microsoft 365 subscription purchased through a third party.
