Use a HumanWare braille display with Narrator

Narrator supports the following HumanWare braille displays on Windows.

Brailliant BI (32, 40, 40X)

Use the following commands with Narrator when you use your HumanWare Brailliant BI 32, Brailliant BI 40, and Brailliant BI 40X models.

Note

The Brailliant BI display has three display keys at each end of the braille cells. From top to bottom:

  • The three at the left are Display 1, Display 2, and Display 3.
  • The three at the right are Display 4, Display 5, and Display 6.

Note

The BrailleNote Touch has four thumb keys on the front: Previous, Back, Advance, and Next. The BrailleNote Touch has an eight-key braille keyboard near the back of the top with keys, left to right, that include: Dot 7, Dot 3, Dot 2, Dot 1, Space, Dot 4, Dot 5, Dot 6, and Dot 8.
