Copilot training (preview)

Copilot training helps users build confidence using Copilot through a short, guided experience within Learning Agent. The training uses role-specific examples and hands-on practice to demonstrate what Copilot can do, how to write effective prompts, and how to use Copilot in ways that align with organizational guidance.

Overview

This capability provides a guided onboarding experience for users who are new to Copilot or want a structured introduction. In a single session, Learning Agent walks users through Copilot fundamentals, prompting best practices, hands-on activities, and a short knowledge check using examples relevant to their role.

How to start

Users can start Copilot training in the following ways:

  • From a link shared by their organization.
  • From the Learning Agent home experience when a training card is available.
  • By entering a prompt such as Start my Copilot training in Learning Agent.

What trainings are includes

  • An introduction to what Copilot can do.
  • Prompting basics with role-relevant examples.
  • A hands-on task to practice using Copilot.
  • A review of organizational AI guidance, where available.
  • A short knowledge check before completion.
