macOS shortcut key

Press Option + Spacebar at any time to bring up Copilot on your Mac. A smaller version of the Copilot window appears so you can type a prompt right away.

To change the shortcut, go to Account > Keyboard Shortcut and enter a different key combination. You can also delete the shortcut to turn it off.

Light and dark mode

By default, the Copilot app matches your macOS appearance settings. To change that, go to Account > App Appearance and switch from Auto to Day or Night.

Device context

Copilot can help you with questions about using your Mac. For example, ask "What shortcut key do I use to take a screenshot?" and Copilot answers for your version of macOS.
