When a folder is added to Favorites, it’s a shortcut to the folder.The actual folder and its content remains at the original location in the folder list. Removing a folder from Favorites doesn’t delete the folder or contents—it removes only the shortcut that appears in Favorites.. By default, when a folder is added to Favorites, it appears at the bottom of the list.

Next to Choose where to get apps, select one of the available options.To see recommendations, select Anywhere, but let me know if there's a comparable app in the Microsoft Store.. To stop seeing app recommendations, select Anywhere.

In Windows 10, old File Explorer favorites are now pinned under Quick access in the left side of File Explorer. If they're not all there, check your old favorites folder (C:\Users\username\Links).

You can add a folder to your Outlook Favorites by simply tapping the Edit icon in your sidebar, and then tapping the star right next to the folder you want to add to your Favorites list.
