Bots can contribute to channel and group chat conversations, such as providing important updates or helping a team organize its work. Typically, you or someone else @mentions a bot to interact with it, but some bots can play a more proactive role in conversations.

Block or remove a bot in Microsoft Teams. To stop a bot from participating in a one-on-one chat, first find the chat name in your chat list, then click More options > Mute. If you want to remove a bot entirely from a channel, find the channel name, then click More options > Manage team.

SharePoint is a browser-based app that you connect to through your web browser, like so: Go to office.com, and sign in to your work or school account. In the upper left corner of the window, select the app launcher > All apps > SharePoint.

To pin apps to the taskbar. Select Start , select the arrow next to All apps, right-click the app, then select More > Pin to taskbar. If the app is already open on the desktop, press and hold (or right click) the app's taskbar icon, and then select Pin to taskbar.

If you don't want to record or transcribe confidential meetings in Teams, you can still engage with Copilot when it's set to "Only during the meeting" in your Meeting options. When you join a meeting, select Copilot to open it on the right of the meeting view.

Select the Files or Shared tab in the meeting chat, channel, or meeting in calendar. Find and select the file. Select More options > Download . Only the meeting organizer can download the recording. Restoring files from previous versions. Restore deleted files and folders or restore a file or folder to a previous state. Navigate to the folder that used to contain the file or folder, right-click it, and then select Restore previous versions.
