Learn how to redeem a gift card, code, or Office product key and spend your balance at Microsoft Store online, on Windows, or Xbox.

How to redeem a code on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then select Store. Press the View button to open the side menu, and then select Redeem. Enter the 25-character code, select Next, and then follow the prompts.

If your purchase of Office or Microsoft 365 came with a product key, you enter your product key on one of the websites listed below for your product. Get help with a damaged or unreadable code. If you’re unable to read all 25 characters of your digital code, you’ll need to request a replacement code by contacting aka.ms/contactxboxsupport. When you contact support, make sure to provide the proof of purchase, the serial number, and a picture of the damaged code.
