From the Overview page, select Office apps and on that page, find the Microsoft 365 product you want to install and select Install. To install Microsoft 365 in a different language, or to install the 64-bit version, use the dropdown to find more options.

Alternatively, in Word, Excel and PowerPoint you can view your add-ins by selecting Home > Add-ins. You can directly install popular add-ins on the page or go to More Add-ins to explore. Select the add-in and select Add .

You can download free, pre-built document templates with useful and creative themes from Office when you click File > New in your Office app. Templates can include calendars, business cards, letters, cards, brochures, newsletters, resumes, cover letters , presentations, social media and much more.

Unblock a single Excel XLL Add-in. In most cases you can unblock an XLL by modifying the properties of the file as follows: Open Windows File Explorer and go to the folder where you saved the file. Right-click the file and choose Properties from the context menu.

Uninstall any 32-bit versions of Office. See Uninstall or remove Office 2010. Make sure any 3rd-party Office add-ins that you rely on are stated as being Office 2010 and 64-bit compatible. Possible backward incompatibility is why, if in doubt, stay with the 32-bit version. Insert the Office 2010 installation disc.

Use the Office offline installer to install Office 2016 or Office 2013 if you don't have an active Internet connection or you're having problems with slow speed or unreliable connections.

Add-ins are supplemental programs that add custom commands or custom features to Office programs. You can obtain add-ins for PowerPoint at Popular Office downloads or on third-party vendor websites. If you are a developer, you can write your own custom add-in programs by using Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).

Use an add-in while composing a message. Create a new message or reply to an existing one. From the ribbon, select the Message tab, then choose the add-in you want to use. If the add-in doesn’t appear in the ribbon, select Apps to view your installed add-ins.

Add-ins provide optional commands and features for Microsoft Excel. By default, add-ins are not immediately available in Excel, so you must first install and (in some cases) activate these add-ins so that you can use them. Some add-ins are built in to Excel, such as Solver and the Analysis ToolPak.

Get an Office Store add-in. On the Insert tab, look for the Add-ins group. To get new add-ins, select Get Add-ins. To use add-ins you already have, select My Add-ins . The add-ins you'll see will depend on the kind of Microsoft 365 subscription you have.
