Download KB3117586-<Architecture>-<Language>-Console.cab from the Download Center.

Run the following command to extract KB3117586-<Architecture>-<Language>-Console.msp from KB3117586-<Architecture>-<Language>-Console.cab:
Expand.exe –R <DownloadLocation>\ KB3117586-<Architecture>-<Language>-Console.cab <TargetPath> Note The <DownloadLocation>, <Architecture>, <Language>, and <TargetPath> placeholders represent the actual values.

Open an elevated command prompt, and then navigate to <TargetPath>.

Run KB3117586-<Architecture>-<Language>-Console.msp from the command prompt to install the patch.
For example: For an AMD64 installation and an ENU language package, follow these steps:

Download the KB3117586-AMD64-ENU-Console.cab.

Run the following expand.exe command to extract the KB3117586-AMD64-ENU-Console.msp file from the KB3117586-AMD64-ENU-Console.cab file:Expand.exe –R <Dowloadlocation> \ KB3117586-AMD64-ENU-Console.cab <TargetPath>

Open a command prompt that has administrator permissions, and then browse to the folder that contains the extracted files.

Run KB3117586-AMD64-ENU-Console.msp from a command prompt to install the patch
Prerequisites
To apply this update, you must have System Center Operations Manager 2016 Technical Preview 4 installed.
Restart information
You must restart the System Center Operations Manager console after you apply this update.
