Update package installation information

To apply this cumulative update, install the server.msp package on computers that are running the following server roles:

  • Lync Server 2010 - Standard Edition Server

  • Lync Server 2010 - Enterprise Edition - Front-end server

  • Lync Server 2010 - Enterprise Edition - stand-alone Audio Video Conferencing Server

Note After you install this cumulative update, clear the cache in Windows Internet Explorer before you try to join a meeting in Lync Server 2010. You cannot join a meeting if a JavaScript file is cached. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. In Internet Explorer, open Internet options.

  2. Click the General tab.

  3. In the Browsing history section, click Delete, and then click OK.
