This article lists some frequently asked questions about end of support for personalized email address in Microsoft 365 and changes to Microsoft cloud storage.
Changes to personalized email addresses in Outlook.com
Starting November 30, 2023, Microsoft 365 Personal or Microsoft 365 Family subscribers will no longer be able to create a new email address for any personalized domain associated with their Outlook.com mailbox.

If you already have a personalized email address in Outlook.com, nothing will change, and you can continue using it without any disruption in service. However, you will need to keep your personalized email address setup in Outlook.
After November 30, 2023, if you remove your personalized email address from your Outlook.com account, you will not be able to add it back. The feature will no longer be available to you.
After November 30, 2023, Microsoft 365 Personal or Microsoft 365 Family subscribers who remove their personalized email address from their Outlook.com account will not be able to add it back. The feature will no longer be available to you.
If you change your mind and would like to use Outlook with a personalized email address, you will have to consider switching to one of our Microsoft 365 Business plans.

Ad-free interface. Microsoft 365 subscribers enjoy an ad-free Outlook.com mailbox.
Larger mailbox storage. Microsoft 365 subscribers get 50 GB of email storage as a subscription benefit. You'll have 50 GB of email storage at your disposal.
Note: 50 GB is not available to Microsoft 365 trial subscribers. The increased storage only becomes available shortly after a paid subscription starts.
Premium support. Microsoft 365 subscriptions include premium customer support, so if you need to contact Microsoft for help, you'll get our highest level of service.

No. You can continue to create aliases for your Outlook.com mailbox, and add other email addresses as an alternate way to sign in.
Changes to cloud storage
Starting February 1, 2023, cloud storage used across Microsoft 365 apps and services will include Outlook.com attachments data and OneDrive data. All data will continue to be protected with Microsoft’s comprehensive set of security features.
This update will not impact your Outlook.com mailbox storage amount. However, this may reduce how much cloud storage you have available to use with your OneDrive. If you reach your cloud storage quota, your ability to send and receive emails in Outlook.com will be disrupted.

Personal files you store, upload and sync from your computer or mobile device, such as Office documents, mobile camera roll, screenshots and other files and photos which have been saved to your OneDrive, including Desktop, Documents and Pictures folders.
Any items in your Recycle Bin.

Go to your Services & subscriptions page.
If prompted, choose Sign in and enter the Microsoft account email and password associated with your Microsoft 365 subscription.
Click on the Manage button, if your subscription was purchased through Microsoft, you will see options to manage your subscription, otherwise you will be taken the website of the third-party retailer where you purchased your subscription.
If you do not wish to continue your Microsoft 365 subscription, visit Cancel a Microsoft 365 subscription for instructions.
If you purchased a Microsoft 365 subscription with recurring billing from a third-party retailer instead of the Microsoft Store, contact the third-party retailer directly to cancel your subscription.
