In order to maintain the security and reliability of your email, we’re rolling out changes to our services that will affect the version of Outlook you’re using.

Starting July 25th, 2022, some older versions of Outlook for Windows will be blocked from connecting to Outlook.com and Microsoft 365 email services, and others will require updates to maintain connectivity.  Not sure which version of Outlook you are using? Go to What version of Outlook do I have? to find out.

What do I need to do?

Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010 will not be able to connect after the changes. To continue using Outlook for Windows with your Outlook.com or Microsoft 365 mailbox, please upgrade to the latest version of Office:
