Select the picture and drag a handle on one of the sides or corners.

Select the picture.

Select Picture Tools > Format and then select Crop.

Drag the handles on the sides or corners to crop the picture the way you'd like.

Rotate a picture

Select the picture and drag the rotation handle in the direction you want.
