Use add-ins in Outlook - Microsoft Support
Use an add-in while composing a message. Create a new message or reply to an existing one. From the ribbon, select the Message tab, then choose the add-in you want to use. If the add-in doesn’t appear in the ribbon, select Apps to view your installed add-ins.

Refresh the Office Add-ins list - Microsoft Support
If an Office add-in isn’t showing up in the Office Add-ins list, refresh the list to see all of your add-ins. In Word 2016, Excel 2016, or PowerPoint 2016, click Insert > My Add-ins. In Project 2016, click Project > My Add-ins. Then click Refresh to update the list in the Office Add-ins dialog.

Do I have to have the related app installed to use Add-Ins?
You do NOT need the related app installed. For example, to use Evernote you do NOT need to have the Evernote app. Please see "What are Add-Ins and how do they work?" in this FAQ for a more detailed walkthrough.
