If you have enabled automatic updates, new updates will automatically download and install whenever they’re available, so you don’t have to think about it. If your touchpad isn’t working, it may be a result of a missing or out-of-date driver. Updating or reinstalling your touchpad drivers in Device Manager may help solve the problem. To open Device Manager, enter device manager in Search on the taskbar, then select Device Manager .

In the search box on the taskbar, type device manager, then select Device Manager from the menu.

If you can't find a file on your computer or you accidently modified or deleted a file, you can restore it from a backup (if you're using Windows backup) or you can try to restore it from a previous version.Previous versions are copies of files and folders that Windows automatically saves as part of a restore point.
