Microsoft Edge is the browser recommended by Microsoft. Support for Internet Explorer ended on June 15, 2022. If any site you visit needs Internet Explorer 11, you can reload it with Internet Explorer mode in Microsoft Edge.

Safe mode starts Windows in a basic state, using a limited set of files and drivers. If a problem doesn't happen in safe mode, this means that default settings and basic device drivers aren't causing the issue.

To upgrade from Windows 11 Home to Windows 11 Pro manually, first check which edition you’re running and your activation state: Select Start > Settings > System > Activation.
