You can apply sensitivity labels to your files and emails to keep them compliant with your organization's information protection policies. Sensitivity labels are configured by your administrator and because they're published to users rather than locations such as sites and mailboxes, users in the same organization might see different sensitivity labels to apply.

Notes: This feature needs to be turned on by your IT admin. Also, sending email to a channel isn't available if you're using Teams as part of an Office 365 Government plan.. In the case of email attachments, a unique ID is appended at the end of file name to support retry requests for uploading files with same name.

Important: If your organization is using OneDrive for Business and SharePoint for meeting recordings, the IT admin should turn on Allow transcription in the Teams meeting policy and encourage users to start transcription in every meeting.
