With online threats getting more advanced day by day, it is important to prioritize the safety of your web browsing. Microsoft Edge offers several features and practices that can enhance your online security and protect your personal information.

Note: If you see the icon next to the On/Off toggle for an app, you can select it to see the registry location that contains the path for the app. Apps installed through Microsoft Store (.MSIX apps) don’t have these icons. If you select the icon for these apps, File Explorer opens and highlights the executable file.

Uninstall from the Start menu. Select Start > All apps and search for the app in the list shown.

If you're running Windows 8.1 or earlier, or if your PC doesn't meet the minimum system requirements to run Windows 11, consider moving to a new Windows 11 device. Find a PC that meets your needs. Set up your Microsoft account to transfer files and favorites. One account connects your device across Microsoft apps and services like Microsoft 365, OneDrive, Edge, and Microsoft Store.

1. Sign in with your Microsoft account. You will be prompted to Sign in with Microsoft account. If you have an existing Microsoft account on your mobile device then you will be asked to confirm your account, then click Continue.. If you don't have an existing Microsoft account on your mobile device then you will be asked to sign into your account or create a new one, then click Continue.

Find Teams on the web at https://teams.microsoft.com.. To use Teams, you need a Microsoft 365 account with a Business or Enterprise Microsoft 365 license plan. To pin Quick Assist to your taskbar so you can quickly get back to it, after Quick Assist is open, right-click (or press and hold) the icon on your taskbar > Pin to taskbar. If the old app icon still appears on your device, make sure you select the new app icon.
