Troubleshoot issues that occur when setting up external monitors. If you are trying to set up an external monitor and it’s not working, press the Windows logo key + P to make sure that the Extend option is selected. If the Extend option is selected, try the following troubleshooting tips.

On the Email tab, choose your account (profile), and then choose Repair.

1. Sign in with your Microsoft account. You will be prompted to Sign in with Microsoft account. If you have an existing Microsoft account on your mobile device then you will be asked to confirm your account, then click Continue..
