In most cases, all you have to do to set up a scanner is to connect it to your device. Plug the USB cable from your scanner into an available USB port on your device, and turn the scanner on.

Select the Windows Security app from the search results, go to Virus & threat protection, and under Virus & threat protection settings select Manage settings.

Download Microsoft Edge from the Apple App Store and sign in with your Microsoft account.

If you have an existing Microsoft account on your mobile device then you will be asked to confirm your account, then click Continue..
