Check for updates in the Phone Link by opening Settings > About > Check for updates.Install any pending updates to make sure your content stays up-to-date. You may also need to check for updates in the Link to Windows app on your Android device.

To upgrade to Windows 11, you need enough space on your hard drive for the installation to take place. To view how much hard drive space is available on your computer, select File Explorer on the taskbar (known as Windows Explorer in Windows 7) or press Windows logo key + E. Then select Computer or This PC and look under Hard Disk Drives or under Devices and drives.

Microsoft Office has a feature that lets you send Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files as Internet faxes. This feature relies on having the Windows Fax Printer Driver or Fax Services installed on the computer to send the faxes.

If Outlook doesn't crash or hang, continue by selecting File > Options > Add-Ins. At the bottom of the window, select COM Add-ins and then select Go. Select any active check boxes to clear them, and then select OK. Restart Outlook. If the issue doesn't recur, start adding the add-ins back one at a time.

Depending on the length of the video, generating closed captions can take several minutes. Once generated, you can watch the video in Stream and have captions displayed at the bottom of the screen.. When the captions have been created, the Generate button turns to Translate.Select Translate to change the spoken or screen language to automatically translate the captions.

Important: Subtotals are not supported in Excel tables.The Subtotal command will appear grayed out if you are working with an Excel table. To add subtotals in a table, you must first convert the table to a normal range of data, and then add the subtotal. Note that this will remove all table functionality from the data except table formatting.

View version history from within a Microsoft Office document. If you are working with a Microsoft Office document, such as a Word, Excel, orPowerPoint file, you can view version history from the app view rather than returning to the list or library to view the history.
