Updates to the default screen and sleep settings now help you use energy more efficiently and extend battery life. You can find efficiency settings in Windows 11 at Settings > System > Power & battery.. To pin Quick Assist to your taskbar so you can quickly get back to it, after Quick Assist is open, right-click (or press and hold) the icon on your taskbar > Pin to taskbar. If the old app icon still appears on your device, make sure you select the new app icon.

Select the Windows Security app from the search results, go to Virus & threat protection, and under Virus & threat protection settings select Manage settings.

If Windows Update finds an updated driver, it will download and install it, and your printer will automatically use it. If a device driver couldn’t be installed automatically, there may be an optional driver available that your printer can use.

Only the free web versions of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are available to you. To access these apps in your browser, all you need to do is to sign in to Microsoft365.com with your Microsoft account and select the app you need from the app launcher .

Uninstall from the Start menu. Select Start > All apps and search for the app in the list shown.

Choose number of pages to print per sheet: Printing multiple pages on a single sheet of paper is a useful technique to save paper, reduce printing costs, and create compact versions of your documents. The number of pages that can be printed on a single sheet depends on the capabilities of your printer and the printing options you choose (Example: 1, 2, 4, 6, 9 or 16 pages per sheet).

If either of the categories above apply to you, use the following procedures to update your browser: Update once. In the browser, go to Settings and more > Help and feedback > About Microsoft Edge (edge://settings/help).. If the About page shows Microsoft Edge is up to date., you don't need to do anything.

Note: If you see the icon next to the On/Off toggle for an app, you can select it to see the registry location that contains the path for the app. Apps installed through Microsoft Store (.MSIX apps) don’t have these icons. If you select the icon for these apps, File Explorer opens and highlights the executable file.
