When your old email address or phone number doesn't suit you anymore—but you want to retain your contacts, online storage, subscriptions, and settings—you can add a new email address or phone number as an alias to your existing Microsoft account. An alias is another email address or phone number that works with the same Microsoft account.

If you don’t have another email account that you can access, you can create a temporary outlook.com account for free by selecting Create one at the Microsoft account sign in page. Note: The Automatically save passwords setting has been retired with Microsoft Edge version 124 and later. Instead, Edge will offer to save your passwords each time you enter new credentials in the Edge browser. All your previously autosaved passwords will continue to be available for a seamless login.
