Updates to the default screen and sleep settings now help you use energy more efficiently and extend battery life. On the settings page for that app, change the setting for Let this app run in the background.Here’s a summary of each option: Always.The app is always allowed to run in the background—receive info, send notifications, and stay up to date—even when you’re not actively using it.

Note: If you forgot your account info and had to reset your security info, you must wait 60 days before closing your account.

Turn on Find my device. When you set up a new device, you can decide whether to turn on or turn off the Find my device setting. If you turned it off during setup and now want to turn it on, make sure your Windows device is connected to the internet, has enough battery power so it can send its location, and that you're signed in to the device using your Microsoft account.

The recommended (and easiest) way to get SP1 is to turn on automatic updating in Windows Update in Control Panel and wait for Windows 7 to notify you that SP1 is ready to install.
