To increase security and performance, Windows 11 in S mode only runs apps from the Microsoft Store. If you want to install an app that isn't available in the Microsoft Store, or if you have Windows 10 Pro, Enterprise, or Education and want to upgrade to Windows 11, you'll need to permanently switch out of S mode.

Test your camera with the Camera app. Select Start , then choose Camera from your apps. If you're asked to allow access to the Camera, select Yes.If the camera works in the Camera app, the problem might be with the app you're trying to use.

In Windows 11, ensure that Camera access, Let apps access your camera, and the individual toggle for the Microsoft Store app you wish to use is turned on. If you do not see the app or website you're looking for in the list, it's likely a desktop app. Desktop apps cannot be individually toggled, but access for those apps can be controlled using Let desktop apps access your camera.

Tip: You can also check to see what your network adapter supports by opening the Command Prompt (or Terminal), and then typing the command netsh wlan show drivers.Look next to Radio types supported and see if it includes 802.11be (for Wi-Fi 7) or 802.11ax (for Wi-Fi 6/6e) and look under Authentication and cipher supported in infrastructure mode and see if it includes WPA3 Personal and WPA3 ...

You'll see the logo screen on your screen. Continue to hold the Volume Up button. Release the button when the UEFI screen appears. If you have a Windows Pro/Enterprise device (not a Windows Home device), you can then toggle off Type Cover port from the Devices menu and exit UEFI. Re-enter UEFI (press power + Volume Up) and toggle Type Cover port back on, then check if the Keyboard works in UEFI.

Right-click the app, select More, and then select Open file location.This opens the location where the shortcut to the app is saved. If there isn't an option for Open file location, it means the app can't run at startup.
