Update the OneDrive for work or school sync app
The steps depend on whether you installed Microsoft 365 or the sync client through a setup program (MSI), or through Click-to-Run. This article covers updating the longtime OneDrive for work or school sync client (Groove.exe), not the OneDrive sync app (OneDrive.exe).

Browse to the following location: \%localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive. Copy the OneDrive.exe file to a network share location. Download the OneDrive.exe file that you created in step 3 to the local computer. Run the installation using the command: < filepath >\OneDrive.exe /permachinesetup.

Reset OneDrive - Microsoft Support
Press the Windows key and R to open the Run dialog box, enter wsreset.exe, then select OK. A blank Command Prompt window will open, and after about ten seconds the window will close. You can close the Microsoft Store window. If OneDrive is still not syncing, press the Windows key and R again.

Troubleshoot. Reinstall OneDrive. OneDrive (home or personal) Reinstalling Microsoft OneDrive can sometimes resolve sync issues and resets all OneDrive settings. OneDrive will perform a full sync after the reinstallation. You won't lose any data by uninstalling OneDrive.

Windows 10 . Select the Start button, type Programs and select Add or remove programs in the list of results.. Under Apps & features, find and select Microsoft OneDrive, and then select Uninstall.. If you don't see OneDrive in the list, press the Windows key and R to open a Run dialog, then type appwiz.cpl and press OK.
