To successfully remove a device, follow the steps below. You'll need to complete all steps for both your Android device and your PC in order to successfully unlink your device. Start by checking which mobile app your Android device has. Refer to this list to see if your device supports Link to Windows (pre-installed).

Here’s how to mirror another screen or project to your PC. On the PC you'd like to project from, select Start > Settings > System > Projecting to this PC . Under Add the “Wireless Display” optional feature to project to this PC, select Optional features. Next to Add an optional feature, select View features, then enter “wireless display.”

To remove a PC because you don’t own or use it anymore: Find the device you want to remove and select Remove device. Check the box to confirm removal, and select Remove. To unlink a mobile device because you don’t own or use it anymore: Find the device you want to remove and select Unlink.
