This notice is intended to help you understand the breaking change from Apple and evaluate the effects on your organization. This notice also provides recommendations from Microsoft.

On iOS devices, we recommend using the Microsoft 365 mobile apps which are available via the Apple App Store. On an older version of iOS that no longer supports the Microsoft 365 mobile apps, Safari is the best browser for Microsoft 365 for the web on iOS.

Repair or reset your apps: See Repair or Remove programs in Windows 10. Reinstall your apps: In Microsoft Store, select See more > My Library. Select the app you want to reinstall, and then select Install.

To find out if an app or program is installed in Windows, select Start > Settings > Apps.

MacOS: Microsoft Edge, Apple Safari (version 16 or higher), Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. Linux: Outlook.com and Outlook on the web work in either Firefox or Chrome on Linux, but some features may not be available.

To import browser data—such as favorites, history, and bookmarks—from Safari to the new Microsoft Edge in macOS Mojave, new security features in the macOS require you to first give Microsoft Edge full disk access permission.
