Convert a presentation file. On the ribbon, select the File tab. Select Info, then select Convert. After conversion, you are prompted to save the converted presentation: If the original presentation is a PowerPoint 97-2003 ( .ppt) presentation, that original is preserved alongside the new file.

Make sure you are in the right path to save the workbook > Choose PowerPoint Presentation (*.pptx) under Save as type > Select Save.
