Learn how to view and delete your browser history and other history in Microsoft Edge.

To clear a single search from history, on the Search History page, click the X next to the search you want to delete. To clear all of your search history, on the Search History page, under Change history settings, click Clear all.

To view and clear the Microsoft Edge browsing history associated with your signed-in Microsoft account, go to the privacy dashboard. You can also clear the browsing history from your device.

In Microsoft Edge, select Settings and more > Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Clear Browsing data. Select Choose what to clear next to Clear browsing data now.

Select Privacy, then turn on or off the setting for Allow Microsoft to save your browsing activity including history, usage, favorites, web content, and other browsing data to personalize Microsoft Edge and Microsoft services like ads, search, shopping and news.

In the top right corner of the browser, select Settings and more . If you don’t see the options you need, select Settings from there. You can change settings like your browser home page or search engine, clear browsing history and cookies, or sync your info across devices.

If you also to want to remove any activity data that’s associated with cookies in your browser, you should clear your cookies in Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer.

Your Microsoft account settings don't allow you to send your activity history to Microsoft, but your activity history will be stored on your device to help keep track of the things you do.
