How to sign up to Clipchamp
If you've never used our video editor before, you can set up a free account in a few quick steps and start editing your videos straight away.
First, visit Clipchamp free online video editor.
NOTE: if you're already logged in to an existing account and want to create a new one, simply log out via your user icon in the top right corner, then go to the Signup page. It looks like this:
You can sign up using your Microsoft (personal) or Google account by selecting one of those options and following the prompts.
If you want to sign up by email, click Use your email.
This will lead you to the next screen.
Enter your name and email and click Sign up. This will send you a magic link to your email address that you can use to complete the account registration. The magic link method will require you to use a new link when you log in in the future.
If you'd like to set up an email and password combination for your account instead, click Use password instead at the bottom of the window.
Fill in your details, choose a password, and click Sign up.
If you've chosen to sign up with email only (magic link) or with email + password, you'll see a message like this:
Go to your email inbox, find the email from Clipchamp and click the Click here to confirm email button, or copy and paste the link displayed below it into your browser.
If you don't see the email, check your spam or junk mail folder.
A new account will now be created and you will be signed in.
In the future, if you want to log in to your account using a different method you will still be able to, as long as it's associated with the same email address. For more information, see: Logging in and out of Clipchamp.
