How to train a word in Dragon Medical One
Sometimes Dragon Medical One misrecognizes what you say, even if you enter the word as you pronounce it. When this happens, you can train Dragon Medical One with your voice to recognize how you say the word so it types correctly in the future.
Train words
To train words, say Manage Vocabulary or select Manage Vocabulary from the DragonBar menu. Once the Manage Vocabulary window is open, follow these steps to train a word:
Choose the word you want to train.
Ensure the spelling is correct. This spelling is what Dragon Medical One types when you dictate. If it's spelled incorrectly, select Edit to make the correction.
Select Train.
Select the microphone icon to train the word.
When the microphone icon changes to green, say the word in a natural voice, as you would say it during dictation. The icon spins when it's recording.
Note
You don't have to press the talk button or turn on the microphone in this stage unless you're using PowerMic Mobile. When using PowerMic Mobile, you need to press the PowerMic Mobile microphone as well as the icon on the vocabulary window.
Select Confirm.
