As you type inside the To, Cc, or Bcc boxes, Outlook suggests recipients. The Auto-Complete List can be turned off.

As you begin to type a name in a To, Cc, or Bcc box, the Contact Suggestions List shows up to five matching names or addresses. If you type a " b " character in one of the recipient fields, for example, the list presents suggested matches.

At the top of the page, select Settings . Select Mail > Compose and reply. Under Reply or Reply all, choose your default response when you reply from the reading pane: Reply: Your reply is sent only to the sender. Reply all: Your reply is sent to everyone on the To and Cc lines.

When you create a meeting request from an email message, everyone who is on the To line in the original message is invited as Required Attendees, and everyone on the Cc line as Optional Attendees.

To reply to the original sender and all other recipients on the To and Cc lines, select Reply All. To send the message to someone not on the To or Cc lines, select Forward.

The list of names and email addresses that are suggested as you begin to type in the To, Cc, and Bcc boxes can be imported or copied and used on another computer.

In the To, Cc, or Bcc boxes, enter the recipients' email address or names. As you start typing a recipient's name, Outlook will suggest the names of people you've emailed before.

From a new email message, choose the To, Cc, or Bcc buttons. To view a different address book, choose the drop-down under Address Book.
