Microsoft Edge will delete your browsing history, cookies, and site data, as well as passwords, addresses, and form data when you close all InPrivate windows. You can start a new InPrivate session by selecting Settings and more on a computer or Tabs on a mobile device.

Your browsing history may be collected and appear in the privacy dashboard if you’ve signed in to Windows with your Microsoft account and your Windows diagnostic data setting is set to Full.

To delete your search history, you need to clear it. Tip: If you can't turn off search history, enable JavaScript and cookies in your browser, and then try again. To clear a single search from history, on the Search History page, click the X next to the search you want to delete.

Once you clear your data, we'll delete it from the dashboard and begin removing it from our systems. App and service data may be shared with service providers and third party apps that you log into using your Microsoft account.

Microsoft Edge includes a wide range of settings, tools, and internet options that let you customize your browsing experience. You can quickly find and access Edge settings, browser tools, privacy controls, security options, clear browsing history, and advanced preferences.

In Microsoft Edge, select Settings and more > Settings > Privacy, search, and services. Select Tracking prevention and make sure it is turned On. Select the level of tracking prevention that’s right for you.

You are always in control of what apps and websites get saved in snapshots, and you can delete snapshots, pause or turn them off at any time. Any future options for the user to share data will require fully informed explicit action by the user.
