If you can't sign in to your Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live, or MSN email account, or you're not sure how to sign in or sign out, here are some solutions.

If you want to use the default email account when clicking New Email regardless what account or folder you start from use the following steps. Select File > Options > Mail. Under Send Messages, check the box Always use the default account when composing new messages. Select OK.

Manage suggested recipients in Outlook for iOS and Android. Add, find, edit, or delete a contact in Outlook. As you type inside the To, Cc, or Bcc boxes, Outlook suggests recipients. The Auto-Complete List can be turned off.

The new Outlook for Windows will launch into the first account on your list in Windows Mail. If Outlook can't sign you in automatically, manually type in the account and sign in. Select Import Settings on the dialog that appears to bring over your settings or choose Skip.
