Bots can contribute to channel and group chat conversations, such as providing important updates or helping a team organize its work. Typically, you or someone else @mentions a bot to interact with it, but some bots can play a more proactive role in conversations.

Block or remove a bot in Microsoft Teams. To stop a bot from participating in a one-on-one chat, first find the chat name in your chat list, then click More options > Mute. If you want to remove a bot entirely from a channel, find the channel name, then click More options > Manage team.

Select the Files or Shared tab in the meeting chat, channel, or meeting in calendar. Find and select the file. Select More options > Download . Only the meeting organizer can download the recording. If you don't want to record or transcribe confidential meetings in Teams, you can still engage with Copilot when it's set to "Only during the meeting" in your Meeting options. When you join a meeting, select Copilot to open it on the right of the meeting view.

Find recordings. Recordings are available in different places depending on the type of meeting. The recording is processed and saved in the meeting organizer's OneDrive for Business. The meeting recording shows up in the meeting chat or channel conversation (if you’re meeting in a channel).

To use voice typing, you'll need to be connected to the internet, have a working microphone, and have your cursor in a text box. Once you turn on voice typing, it will start listening automatically. Wait for the "Listening..." alert before you start speaking.
