How to use Magnifier. Collapse all. On an Xbox console. Turn Magnifier on or off. If you’re using a controller, press and hold the Xbox button until it vibrates, press the View button , and then select Yes. To turn it off, hold the Xbox button until it vibrates and press the View button again.

To open Magnifier quickly, press the Windows logo key + Plus sign (+). When Magnifier is open, use Windows logo key + Plus sign (+) or Windows logo key + Minus sign (-) to zoom in or out. Turn on Magnifier. This option sets Magnifier to run when you log on to your computer. Magnifier enlarges the part of the screen where the mouse is pointing and can be especially useful for viewing objects that are difficult to see. Adjust the color and transparency of the window borders.

Use Magnifier to make things on your screen bigger. Read more easily by using text scaling to make text bigger or smaller or by changing the screen to black and white with high contrast. Note: To turn on high contrast when you’re setting up your device for the first time, press and hold the Volume down button and then press the Start button.
