Symptoms
Assume that you set and use the EnableAppearOffline and CustomStateURL group policies in Microsoft Skype for Business 2016. When you sign in the client, you cannot find the Appear Offline state in the presence list.
Resolution
To fix this issue, install the April 4, 2017, update (KB3178717) for Skype for Business 2016.
