Symptoms
When the Use Microsoft MQ Client selection is set to Yes or the Microsoft MQ Client is used in a .NET Framework program, the WebSphere MQ Server returns a protocol error when a GET command is executed.
Additionally, the following information is logged in the Application event log:
Application: BTSNTSvc64.exe
Framework Version: v4.0.30319
Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception.
Exception Info: System.InvalidOperationException
Cause
This issue occurs after the IBM WebSphere MQ Server is updated to version 7.5.0.7 (or later) or version 8.0.5 (or later).
Resolution
This issue is fixed in Cumulative Update 2 for Host Integration Server 2016.
