Introduction
Hotfix for System Center 2022 Service Manager RTM introduces the support for Modern Authentication and fixes multiple critical issues. This article describes the new feature and the issues that have been fixed for Microsoft System Center 2022 Service Manager.
Note
It is recommended to apply Update Rollup 2 for System Center 2022 Service Manager instead of this Hotfix for all existing users who are on RTM version.
Issues that are fixed

The Self-Service Portal My Activities page freezes when service request user input provided contains ampersand sign.

Self-Service Portal Activate Request button fails by design, removed the Activate Request Button from Service Request.

Service Manager Console crashes when the user cannot add criteria for Request offering.

Service Manager Console crashes when user tries to group/sort incident.

Service Manager gets corrupted due to deletion of Primary/Workflow computer object.

Service Manager Console status column causes ambiguity when Configuration Items get into Pending Delete status, adding Status property to the grids in Computer Form / Hardware Tab.

Modern Authentication is now supported with email notifications in System Center 2022 Service Manager. For detailed setup info, refer to Configure Service Manager notifications.
