Choose the account you want to sign in with.

In Microsoft Teams (free), you can reach out to your colleagues, business partners, or customers who are using Microsoft Teams (work or school).

Note: SMS chats aren't supported.

To chat with a Microsoft Teams (work or school) user:

Open Microsoft Teams (free).
Enter your contact’s business email in the Search bar.

Note: Not all organization members will be searchable.
Select your contact result from People and then send them a chat message. Only certain functionality will be available.
After your contact has accepted your request, you will be able to chat with them.
