Copilot makes PDF reviews faster and easier. It explains selected text in plain language and lets you customize the prompt for tailored results—so you spend less time switching between apps.
Copilot's context menu is a shortcut to Copilot actions, cutting down PDF review time. There are two Copilot actions available:

Default option, Explain this: giving you instant, plain-language explanations.

Custom: Add your own prompt to get results tailored to you—no need to jump between apps.
Note:Â Copilot context menu for PDFs is only available if you sign in with a work account at onedrive.com
Using Copilot's PDF context menu in the OneDrive website

Go to onedrive.com and sign in with your work account.Sign in

Open the PDF you want to review.

Select any text in your PDF. The context menu will display Explain this. Press Enter to see a plain-language explanation.

To customize the action, type your own prompt in the input field and press Enter for tailored results.
