Slash commands are keyboard-driven navigation that helps users work more efficiently by providing an alternative to touchscreen. Using commands, like keyboard shortcuts, can also help users who have mobility and vision disabilities.

You can use slash commands to quickly navigate to chats and communities, set your status apps, and add details to your messages in Teams Free.

Note: Slash and /goto commands are currently unavailable in Teams for mobile.

  2. Start typing the name of your chat or community. Or you can select one of the options from the drop-down menu that appears.
