Quickly locate all your Microsoft 365 Copilot Notebooks from one place. Whether you're returning to recent work or searching for a specific notebook, you can browse, filter, and open your notebooks to pick up where you left off.
Note
Copilot Notebooks is available to Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Chat licensed users. Accounts must have a SharePoint or OneDrive license (service plan) to create notebooks. Copilot Notebooks is also available for Microsoft 365 Personal, Family, and Premium subscribers. Learn more about Microsoft 365 Copilot licensing and Microsoft 365 Copilot plans.
Where can I find my notebooks?
You can find your Copilot Notebooks in the Microsoft 365 Copilot app and in OneNote. In both, your notebooks are sorted from newest to oldest, and you can switch between grid and list views and open, rename, or delete a notebook.
In the Microsoft 365 Copilot app
In the left pane, select Notebooks to open your notebooks, then filter by All, Just you, or Shared. You can also select the arrow next to Notebooks to open a flyout, where you can search your notebooks, open a recent one, or select New notebook.
In OneNote (Web)
Go to Copilot Notebooks in OneNote, where your notebooks appear under Recent and All Notebooks in the left pane. In the main view, filter by All, Favorites, Shared with you, or Recommended. Recommended shows notebooks generated for you based on activity in your Microsoft 365 apps.
The OneNote desktop app offers a similar experience.
