In Microsoft Teams (free), you can use your device camera to capture pictures and videos and share them with all of your contacts and groups.

Note: This feature is currently only available in Microsoft Teams (free) for iOS and Android. Learn more about how to send a video clip in Microsoft Teams (free) on desktop.

To use your device camera to share a photo or video:

  1. Go to the chat in which you want to share the photo or video.

  2. Select the camera  Camera button button next to the Type a message window at the bottom of the chat.

  3. Swipe to select the type of photo or video at the bottom of the screen.

    • You can send a photo, document, whiteboard, or business card image. Learn more about photo modes.

    • You can send a video clip to your chat.

  4. Select the Capture button to take a photo or video.

  5. Use the options on the screen to edit your photo or video.

  6. When you’re ready to send your photo or video, select Send.
