If you can't sign in to your Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live, or MSN email account, or you're not sure how to sign in or sign out, here are some solutions.

If you get an email about unusual activity on your Microsoft account, or if you’re worried that someone else might have used your account, go to the Recent activity page. You’ll see when your Microsoft account was signed in during the last 30 days, along with any device or app-specific info.

Go to the Microsoft account sign-in page at https://account.microsoft.com and enter your email address. If you see a message that says "We couldn't find an account with that username." or "That Microsoft account doesn't exist", then the address you entered is not a Microsoft account. If you believe it should be:

Sign in. To sign in to MSN just select Sign in at the top right hand side of the page and enter your Microsoft account information. You can also sign in to MSN by signing into Outlook, Office, OneDrive or other Microsoft services available on the MSN homepage.
