Symptoms
After you enable a table for change data capture in Microsoft SQL Server 2017, the capture job fails, and you receive an error message that resembles the following:

Maximum stored procedure, function, trigger, or view nesting level exceeded (limit 32).
[SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 217)
Resolution
This fix is included in Cumulative Update 4 for SQL Server 2017.
