Events play an important role in shaping organizational culture and enhancing the employee experience. They help leaders to clarify strategy, align and inform employees, and boost engagement. Events also provide a platform for employees to share their voices and connect with peers across the organization.
Events in Viva Engage
Engage provides three different ways to host events in communities and storylines: broadcasts, meetings, and async events.
- Broadcasts are a new and improved live event powered by Teams town hall, that you can deliver in Engage communities and storylines.
- Meetings are exactly what they sound like: a Teams meeting for your community or storyline.
- Async events can be used to conduct an event without a Teams online experience. Best for an in-person event or a text-only discussion like an ask-me-anything (AMA).
